Tickets must be pre-booked via our online booking system to avoid disappointment. Please visit www.thebuddingfoundation.co.uk or www.tatesofsussex.co.uk for information on how to book a ticket. Unfortunately, we are unable to take advance bookings in-store.
Online tickets must be purchased at least one day before. You are not able to purchase tickets online for the same day, but there may be some still available in-store on the day.
Unfortunately, we are unable to take advance bookings in-store. This is because the grotto is operated by The Budding Foundation charity, with all revenue from ticket sales paid directly to them. There may be some tickets still available to purchase in store, in cash, on the day of your visit but we recommend you book online to avoid disappointment.
Yes, although availability may be limited and the most popular session times are likely to be fully booked. To avoid disappointment, we recommend booking in advance via our online booking system.
Tickets are £10.00 or £12.00 per child and this includes a gift from Santa. Accompanying adults are £3.50
Non-participating infants under 12 months of age may visit for free as part of a larger paying group. However, if you would like your infant to receive a gift, you will need to purchase a ticket. Infants under the age of 12 months who are not part of a larger paying group will need to purchase a ticket.
Yes, we will be unable to admit any unaccompanied child.
When you book tickets online, you will receive an email. Bring a copy of this email with you and show it to the elf at the entrance.
No, if you don’t have a printer you can present your booking reference number on a mobile device. We may ask you for some I.D. so please bring this with you.
Please arrive 10 minutes in advance of your booking time.
There will be some queuing within your allocated time slot, but we have designed the Toy Factory with fantastic moving animated displays, music and other fun activities that will keep children entertained for the duration of their visit.
Yes, Santa’s Toy Factory has been designed with walkways that are wide enough for wheelchair access. The rest of the centre is wheelchair friendly, including the coffee shop. There are 3 disabled toilets on site.
Yes, our grottos will include some twinkling and flashing lights.
Yes, there is a large car park is plenty of free parking available.
Yes, you are welcome to take your own photos.
Santa’s toy factory is ideal for children under the age of 10, but everyone is welcome!
You child will receive an age appropriate wrapped gift during his or her visit to see Santa.
If you are unable to make your booking and you let us know at least 48 hours in advance, we will do our best to change the date or time for you, although this may not be possible if we are fully booked. Please email santa@tatesgardencentres.co.uk with your ticket details and a contact telephone number.
Unfortunately, this is not possible. You will need to check the availability online and book another ticket for any additional children. If there is no availability in the same time slot, you will need to book for an alternative date or time. We recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.
Unfortunately, once booked it is not possible to obtain a refund, although we will do our best to change the date or time of your booking. Please email santa@tatesgardencentres.co.uk with your ticket details and a contact telephone number at least 48 hours in advance of your booking time.
